Metal can be really fantastic. It can display a huge amount of subgenres and all of them happen to exist with a unique feature and one of the great things that the metal shows is how extreme the female voice can be represented.
Many bands began to bet on female vocals and it is common to see that the number of women in bands is increasing day by day and that's great. Bands with female members are somehow able to come out with a touch of delicacy and, at the same time, with a different view of things. It all makes a difference and most of the bands that have women are pretty fantastic.
One of the bands that has an impact on the metal world with a female vocalist is bearing the label of none other than Napalm Records. This giant label also features the band Beseech, which also has an excellent singer - the wonderful Angelina Sahlgren Söder -, but the focus here is not about other bands. The focus is to talk about the amazing and overwhelming Masha "Scream" Arkhipova. She is that one vocalist who manages to have an impeccable versatility and incredible destruction.
Masha is a vocalist who can break the barriers of one’s mind. A lead singer who can sing with such great chest voice, extremely well done and with a melody that fits perfectly with her. When she goes guttural, she can really be like someone else on the song, but still with all the glitz that only Scream can have.
