Se você não conhece por nome, saiba que ela foi a incrível vocalista que fez o álbum Psychosynthesis entrar para a eternidade no Gothic Metal.
Psychosynthesis é o álbum da banda Dimlight, banda que tem um poder muito grande dentro do Gothic Metal e em específico nesse álbum a banda conseguiu colocar todas as suas energias e criar algo realmente destruidor e marcante com melodias de primeira linha.
O poderoso instrumental é realmente um começo excelente para todas as faixas, mas a mágica aparece quando Sanna Salou começa a cantar e leva todos os fãs para outro mundo com sua voz doce e poderosa.
Um exemplo formidável do que é juntar o peso de um instrumental de uma banda incrível que puxa o Gothic Metal mais do que qualquer coisa, mas também junta com um pouco de Dark e Death é a faixa “Agonize” que deixa um destaque muito grande para o vocal da Sanna que não deixa e momento algum faltarem poesia e beleza.
Sua forma de cantar doce e com sentimento é realmente muito boa de escutar e completa a banda perfeitamente, combina perfeitamente com o instrumental pesado e obscuro.
Lucid Dreams é uma faixa que consegue trazer tudo que existe na alma dessa banda, traz brutalidade e também melodia. Traz amor e obscuridade. Traz drama e poesia e dentro de tudo isso podemos notar um gutural junto do lindo vocal dessa linda mulher que consegue sempre surpreender pela sua capacidade única e que consegue mostrar que ela consegue ir do lado mais agudo possível para algo mais calmo, mais leve, uma vocalista realmente excelente.
Sanna Salou também fez parte da banda “Emerald Sun” também. Hoje ela não está mais na Dimlight, mas continua mostrando sua qualidade e talento como vocalista na banda Oracles Cult.

1. Hello, Dying Silence! Thank you for this interview, on behalf of Oroborus blog! First, I would like to know the story behind Dying Silence's name and why did you guys choose to leave it in English?
Rafael - The name "Dying Silence" came inspired by a song from the German band called Heaven Shall Burn, that name makes a great sense to us because the vast majority of people do is agonize in silence. We chose to leave the name in English because in addition to sound better in this context, it covers the global public.
2. The logo of the band is well structured in some "industrial" way by combining with the sound proposal, which is more focused on the hardcore. How was to design and consecrate it as Dying Silence's mark?
Rafael - The band's logo was developed by the American artist Justin Bryant on his 1126 Art Studio, he's a great artist who worked already developing art for bands like 36 Crazyfists, Upon A Burning Body, Circa Survive, All That Remains, Darkest Hour.
We were looking for someone that would capture the idea of our sound and someone that could transmit the logo, and Justin was our best option.
Luciano - When was to make the logo of the band, we tried to do something a little more "futuristic", so we are not tied to style or label, because once people hit the eye on the logo, it's going to be faced as something timeless.
3. The band has its formation dating back to 2010. How has been bringing people together to compose on Dying Silence? Which influences each of you brought /bring to the band?
Rafael - Actually, today we do not know for sure how the current members and members who have gone through Dying Silence managed to join *laughs
In late 2009 I met Luciano on a social network, and by chance, he was living in Campinas-SP.
Since 2010, many members were exchanged, the original ones would be me and Luciano.
In 2012, Estevan Furlan began working with us, producing our songs, which resulted in duplication of work, which was supposed to be a producer job only, eventually he became our drummer also for free spontaneous pressure *laughs
In the middle of 2013, we were out of bass player, when an acquaintance of ours showed us Pedro, because we needed someone to cover up on a show that was going to happen in two weeks. In three days, he took off all songs and played on the show as he was member of the band in a long time. From this moment on, we fixed this formation.
Our influences come directly from Thrash, Death and Hardcore. Everyone here unconsciously have Sepultura trapped in our veins. It's automatic, but for each member works more or less as following: Luciano is influenced by New Metal; I pull the line "core" of sound, heavily influenced by New York Hardcore; Estevan is responsible for the dose of death metal that has our compositions. Pedro, because of music school, has influences from various music styles, from death metal to classical music.
Our next album will be destroyer!
4. According to Encyclopaedia Metallum, the themes of Dying Silence's lyrics are social criticism, politics and injustice. How are the processes of uniting these issues to the sound?
Rafael - It's simple, just look at the world around you, in your neighborhood, in your city, in your country, in this planet. Our idea is certainly not to do something superficial that hides the reality or talk about something utopian.
Estevan - Reinforcing what Rafael said, we do not need to be good connoisseurs of law or policy. It's just something you see when you stop and look a little to the world that we're living. The things are damn ugly here, people need to wake up.
Luciano - The world is full of injustice and I'm not saying just about the political part, but also the people around us, sometimes a few people get into our lives that we believe they're this way and when the mask falls, once we cannot beat them down.... we go around playing and making music *laughs. 5. The first work of Dying Silence was the EP 'I'll Be Waiting For', released in 2012. How was to produce it?
Rafael - Actually, there were two demos before this EP. We were in the studio creating some complementary sounds that would be added to the two demos previous to record a full length right away, but with arrival and departure of several members, this plan was not implemented. But then, at that time Estevan has begun to work with us, he suggested us to do an EP. During this period of 2011 and 2012, we counted with a second guitarist, so the EP 'I'll Be wainting For' sounds different from our demos and the EP "Origins".
Luciano - As in 'Origins', the EP "I'll Be Waiting For" has the tips of each member in the band. So, it sounds quite different than it is today. Fortunately, like 'Origins', the "IBWF" had a very good acceptance of all the people who heard it and they came and follow the band.
6. According to what we've researched on Dying Silence's website, the EP 'I'll Be Waiting For' was released in several Brazilian and foreign media and achieved its greatest popularity in Mexico. How such positive feedback was /is seen by you guys?
Rafael - Yes, the repercussion abroad was larger compared to Brazil. This time with the release of the EP, a massive Mexican public came giving their feedback, sharing and even asking us to go to Mexico for gigs.
England also had a increasingly public, our friends from the band The Hotel Ambus liked the EP and spread it out there, which resulted in some participation on Metal /Hardcorecollections and columns on pages of magazines about the underground scene.
7. You guys are from Campinas, right? How do you describe the underground metal scene in the city?
Rafael - Each is from a Brazilian corner: Luciano is from Itu; Estevan is from São Paulo; Pedro came from Goiânia.
But today we are all here in Campinas and do everything around here.
The scene in the region is stable, but it's nothing compared to São Paulo for example. There have been better times in Campinas, there were more places to do events and promoters are a little more responsible. But there is one audience that is certainly searching for something new. Especially the younger audience, these are the ones that come together in events. It is a pleasure for us to see this!
8. 'Origins' EP was released in 2014, which I would highlight the well-crafted tracks 'Minha Alma' and 'Bound By Hatred', either with their instrumentals very well built or vocal firmly seated. It was the second work of the band. How was to record and produce 'Origins'?
Rafael - The track 'Minha Alma' is not part of the EP 'Origins', but for us it is the most iconic music so far, it was the first song we did in Dying Silence, it exists since the first demo and at live concerts it's often the crowd's favorite. That's the soung you get everyone hiting the wheel, jumping, shaking, getting mad *laughs
'Bound By Hatred' came naturally, despite being the first track of the EP, was the last to be created and the last to be produced in the studio. Record the EP 'Origins' was totally different from "I'll Be Waiting For", because we were consolidated with the training, with songs that actually sound like is Dying Silence in its original state. Recorded in André Diniz Studio in Indaiatuba-SP (currently Elite Studio), we always work in this studio since the beginning of the first trials, we were used to frequent the place, which provided a natural studio to write and produce the EP.
Luciano - The name 'Origins' comes directly from the will to make this EP by returning to the origins of the band and show how it is to be from the beginning, dried and all weighed!
9. How would you describe the sound of Silence Dying to someone who has not already heard it?
All - HEAVY!
10. In 2014, the Dying Silence launches the music video for the track 'Without Repair' song sung entirely in Portuguese. Why this concern also win the Brazilians to the work of the band? Will continue to feature English lyrics too? Estevan - In fact it is not totally sung in Portuguese *laughs. When we created the 'Sem Conserto' we were going through the period of the World Cup in Brazil. We had released the EP only a few months before, I had no need to release a single. But we were so pissed off with the situation of our country and feeling the urge to choke out what we was feeling. We believe that in Portuguese the message was much the thing we supposed to spill at people's face. 'Sem Conserto' was a real throw up. We are currently in a new music production phase, and we intend to continue making music both Portuguese and English. Pedro - It was also our first sound with influences Brazilians. In this case the Brazilian music elements that are in that sound just made our message even more brutal.
11. How is Dying Silence's agenda? And about the near future, what do you plan? Rafael - In the years 2014 and 2015, we did many shows featuring 'Origins'. Now, in early 2016 we will enter the studio to record the new album. Estevan - We did good shows since the release of the EP 'Origins'. I believe that we are now much more mature, musically speaking. We are extremely focused on the composition and production of this new album that we recorded.The recording will be in RG studio with producer William Maloso. Luciano - We're doing great shows, we hope soon to tour with our new album once it's released.

1.Olá, Dying Silence! Muito obrigada pela entrevista, em nome do blog Oroborus! Primeiro, gostaria de saber a história por trás do nome Dying Silence e por que escolheram deixá-lo em inglês?
Rafael - O nome “Dying Silence” veio inspirado em uma música da banda alemã “Heaven Shall Burn”, esse nome faz um grande sentido para nós pois o que a grande maioria das pessoas faz é agonizar em silencio. Optamos por deixar o nome em inglês porque além de soar melhor nesse contexto, abrange o público de forma Global.
2.O logo da banda é bem estruturado, de certa forma “industrial” ao combinar com uma proposta de som mais voltada para o hardcore. Como foi desenhar e consagrá-lo como a marca da Dying Silence?
Rafael - O logo da banda foi desenvolvido pelo artista americano Justin Bryant do 1126 Art Studio, ele é um ótimo artista que já trabalhou desenvolvendo arte para bandas como: 36 Crazyfists, Upon A Burning Body, Circa Survive, All That Remains, Darkest Hour.
Estávamos à procura de alguém que captasse a ideia do nosso som e conseguisse transmitir no logo, e o Justin foi nossa melhor opção.
Luciano – Quando foi pra fazer o logo da banda procuramos fazer algo um pouco mais “futurista” assim não ficamos presos a estilo ou rótulo quando as pessoas baterem o olho no logo além de ficar atemporal.
3.A banda tem o início de formação datando de 2010. Como foi agregar pessoas para compor a Dying Silence? Quais influências cada um de vocês trouxe/traz para a banda?
Rafael - Na verdade até hoje não sabemos ao certo como os membros atuais e os membros que já passaram pela Dying Silence conseguiram se juntar *risos
No final de 2009 conheci o Luciano numa rede social, e por acaso, ele estava morando em Campinas-SP.
Desde 2010 muitos membros foram trocados, os únicos originais que estão até hoje sou eu e o Luciano.
Em 2012 o Estevan Furlan começou trabalhar conosco produzindo nossas músicas, o que resultou no trabalho dobrado, o que era pra ser um trabalho somente de produtor, acabou virando baterista também por livre espontânea pressão *risos
No meio de 2013, estávamos sem baixista, quando um conhecido nosso nos indicou o Pedro pra cobrir um show que estava pra acontecer em duas semanas. Em 3 dias ele tirou todos os sons e tocou no show como se já fizesse parte da banda a muito tempo. Daí pra frente, fixamos essa formação.
Nossas influências vêm diretamente do Thrash, Death e Hardcore. Todos aqui temos inconscientemente o “Sepultura” cravado em nossas veias, é automático, mas em relação a cada membro funciona mais ou menos da seguinte forma: o Luciano é influenciado pelo New Metal; eu puxo a linha “core” do som, altamente influenciado pelo New York Hardcore; o Estevan é o responsável pela dose de death metal que tem nas composições. O Pedro, por fazer faculdade de Música, tem influências das mais diversas, desde Death Metal até Música Erudita.

4.Segundo o Encyclopaedia Metallum, as temáticas das letras da Dying Silence são crítica social, política e injustiça. Como são os processos de unir tais temas ao som de vocês?
Rafael - É simples, é só olhar o mundo ao seu redor, no seu bairro, na sua cidade, no seu país, no planeta. Nossa ideia com certeza não é fazer algo superficial que esconda a realidade ou falar de algo utópico.
Estevan - Reforçando o que o Rafael disse. Não precisamos ser bons entendedores de leis ou política. É só a gente parar pra olhar um pouco pro mundo que a gente está vivendo. A coisa tá feia, as pessoas precisam acordar.
Luciano – O mundo está repleto de injustiça, não digo apenas sobre a parte política, mas também com as pessoas que nos cercam, às vezes passam algumas pessoas em nossa vida que acreditamos ser uma coisa e quando a máscara cai, como não é legal sair no braço....fazemos música *risos. 5.O primeiro trabalho da Dying Silence foi o EP ‘I’ll Be Waiting For’, lançado em 2012. Como foi produzi-lo?
Rafael - Na verdade houve 2 demos antes desse EP. Estávamos em estúdio criando mais alguns sons complementares que somariam as duas demos anteriores para gravar um Full Length logo de cara, porém com entrada e saída de vários membros esse plano não foi concretizado, e logo nessa época o Estevan estava começado a trabalhar conosco e sugeriu fazer um EP. Nesse período de 2011 e 2012 ainda contávamos com um segundo guitarrista, por isso o EP “I’ll Be Wainting For” soa diferente das nossas demos e do EP “Origins”.
Luciano – Assim como no “Origins”, o EP “I’ll Be Waiting For” tem o dedo de cada integrante da época na banda. Por isso soa bem diferente do que é hoje em dia. Felizmente assim como o “Origins”, o “IBWF” teve uma aceitação muito boa de todas as pessoas que ouviram e vieram a acompanhar a banda.
6.Segundo pesquisamos no site da Dying Silence, o EP ‘I'll Be Waiting For'’foi divulgado em diversas mídias brasileiras e estrangeiras e alcançou maior popularidade no México. Como esse feedback positivo foi/é encarado por vocês?
Rafael - Sim, a repercussão no exterior foi grande comparado ao Brasil. Nessa época com o lançamento do EP, o público Mexicano surgiu em peso dando feedback, compartilhando e até pedindo para irmos ao México fazer shows.
Na Inglaterra também tivemos uma crescente de público, nossos amigos da banda “The Hotel Ambush” gostaram do EP e divulgaram nosso som por lá, o que resultou na participação em coletâneas de Metal/Hardcore e colunas em páginas de algumas revistas no underground.
7.Vocês são de Campinas, certo? Como consideram a cena do metal underground na cidade e na região?
Rafael - Cada um é de um canto: o Luciano é de Itu; Estevan é de São Paulo Capital; o Pedro veio de Goiânia.
Mas estamos todos aqui em Campinas e fazemos tudo por aqui atualmente.
A cena da região está estável, mas nada comparado a São Paulo Capital por exemplo. Já houve épocas melhores em Campinas, havia mais locais para realizar eventos e promotores um pouco mais responsáveis. Mas ainda há aquele público que busca por algo novo. Principalmente o público mais novo, esses são os que mais chegam junto nos eventos. Dá gosto de ver!
8.‘Origins’, EP lançado em 2014, no qual destaco as faixas bem trabalhadas ‘Minha Alma’ e ‘Bound By Hatred’, seja em questões de instrumental muito bem construído ou vocal encaixado perfeitamente, foi o segundo trabalho da banda. Como foi gravar e produzir ‘Origins’?
Rafael - A faixa “Minha Alma” não faz parte do EP “Origins”, porém para nós é a música mais icônica até agora, pois foi a primeira música que fizemos na Dying Silence, ela existe desde a primeira Demo e ao vivo costuma ser a favorita do público, esse é o som que quando começa todo mundo se bate na roda, pula, agita, fica louco *risos
A “Bound By Hatred” surgiu naturalmente, apesar de ser a primeira faixa do EP, foi a última a ser criada e a última a ser produzida no estúdio. Gravar o EP “Origins” foi totalmente diferente do “I’ll Be Waiting For”, estávamos com a formação consolidada, com músicas que realmente soam como é a Dying Silence em seu estado original. Gravamos no André Diniz Studio em Indaiatuba-SP (atualmente Elite Studio), sempre trabalhamos nesse estúdio desde o começo nos primeiros ensaios, já estávamos acostumados a frequentar o local, o que propiciou uma naturalidade ao gravar e produzir o EP.
Luciano - O nome “Origins” vem diretamente da vontade de fazer esse EP voltado às origens da banda e mostrar como é pra ser desde o começo, seco e pesado!
9.Como descreveriam o som da Dying Silence a alguém que ainda não os tenha ouvido?
Todos - PESADO!

10.Em 2014, a Dying Silence lança o vídeo clipe para a faixa ‘Sem Conserto’, música cantada totalmente em português. Por que essa preocupação em ganhar também os brasileiros para o trabalho da banda? Continuarão a apresentar letras em inglês também?
Estevan - Na verdade ela não é totalmente cantada em português *risos. Quando criamos a "Sem Conserto" estávamos passando pelo período da Copa aqui no Brasil. Tínhamos lançado o EP fazia só alguns meses, não tinha a necessidade de lançar um single. Mas estávamos tão putos com a situação do nosso país, e sentindo a vontade de botar pra fora o que a gente tava sentindo. Acreditamos que em português a mensagem foi bem mais na cara de quem precisava ouvir.
A "Sem Conserto" foi um verdadeiro vômito.
No momento estamos em fase de produção de novas músicas, e pretendemos continuar a fazer músicas tanto em português como inglês.
Pedro – Também foi o nosso primeiro som com influências brazucas. No caso, os elementos de música brasileira que estão nesse som só tornaram a nossa mensagem ainda mais brutal.
11.Como está a agenda de shows da Dying Silence? E para um futuro próximo, o que planejam?
Rafael - Nos anos de 2014 e 2015 fizemos muitos shows apresentando o “Origins”. Agora, no começo de 2016, vamos entrar em estúdio para a gravação do novo Álbum.
Estevan - Fizemos bons shows desde o lançamento do EP "Origins". Acredito que agora estamos bem mais maduros, musicalmente falando. Estamos extremamente focados na composição e produção desse novo album que vamos gravar.
A gravação será no estúdio RG, com o produtor Guilherme Maloso.
Luciano – Estamos fazendo ótimos shows, esperamos fazer logo uma tour com o nosso novo álbum que está para ser lançado.

Brutal Death Metal
Directly from Australia, here comes with destruction this band called Revulsed.
'Infernal Atrocity' is the name of this band you are about to meet. Their job is really well focused on what it needs to pull it all within a little bit more serious and chaotic soul.
The band beOn this work, this band is betting on a well done cover art which brings people's, besides of showing they care about their works from the beginning and Revulsed has shown it at the best possible way.
The artwork is formidable and yet simple. With very detailed techniques, they really thought it out, once it can get stuck inside your mind and always bringing the classic features of the Technical and Brutal Death Metal.
'Rapacious Engorgement' is the first track and it appears impactful while opening the album with blood and chaos.
The drums are played in its driest form with the blast beat as great as possible. They bet on the double pedal which makes it even more shocking and destructive range. The guttural is closed and because of this, it can bring the more classical side of Brutal Death style.
'Agonising Putrid Self-Infliction' draws all attention to the guitar, once it can create a really great sound with energy and gloom. The bass appears when it creates the pulsating soul of profane creatures roaming in the shadows.
Rhythmic and destructive, this track shows up this band's true side of the soul, because you can see it in each instrument, in each musician. This band really bears the flag of their and makes it shine on the horizon with such weight.
To have and present versatility within the Brutal Death Metal music is something somehow very complicated once this genre pulls to the more loaded feeling of hatred that exists in the human soul. It can always leave the same sound, but the band knows how to use it in its best possible way.
The side of the Technical Death Metal really helps the work for the bass player who can highlight this instruments when Sheldon D'Costa shows the true weight of this band.
The track entitled 'Imposed Cognitive Reconstruction' is the perfect living example of how the side of the Technical Death could contribute to the bass line and make it different, well-done to show a greater weight in the band. The guitar in this song can explore solos that let the sound somewhat profane and well marked. A solo like that can score on the song tempo.
'Infernal Atrocity' is the first work of the band and it already leaves it via Permeated Records,. A company that really scores it a lot with this band that is perfect for a true fan of Brutal Death Metal.

Rapacious Engorgement é o título da primeira faixa e ela aparece de forma impactante abrindo o álbum com sangue e caos.
A bateria aparece de forma seca e trabalhando com o blast da melhor forma possível. A aposta pelo pedal duplo faz da faixa ainda mais impactante e destruidora junto do gutural fechado que consegue trazer o lado mais clássico possível do Brutal Death Metal.
Agonising Putrid Self-Infliction puxa toda atenção para a guitarra que consegue criar um som com energia e tenebrosidade. O baixo aparece criando o pulsar da alma das criaturas profanas que estão vagando pelas sombras.
Cadenciada e destruidora é a parte que aparece o lado mais verdadeiro da alma de cada músico, essa banda realmente faz a bandeira de seu país mudar de cor e brilhar no horizonte com tanto peso.
Ter versatilidade dentro do Brutal Death Metal é algo um tanto complicado, pois o gênero puxa muito do lado mais carregado pelo sentimento de ódio que existe na alma humana e isso pode deixar sempre a mesma coisa o som, mas a banda sabe usar isso e consegue trazer o Technical Death Metal para acrescentar da melhor forma possível.
O lado do Technical Death Metal ajuda muito o trabalho para o baixista que consegue destacar ainda mais o baixo na banda onde Sheldon D'Costa consegue mostrar o verdadeiro peso dessa banda.
A faixa intitulada Imposed Cognitive Reconstruction é o exemplo vivo de como o lado do Technical Death conseguiu contribuir para o baixista criar sua linha e fazer ela ser diferente, realmente conseguiu mostrar um peso maior na banda. 1. Hi, Silence Lies Fear! First, I would like to thank so much you guys, in the name of G.Grind blog, for this opportunity. I see that many metalcore groups name their bands with “long names”. It’s somehow common on this music style. What was the story behind Silence Lies Fear name?
Jakhangir: Cheers dear G.Grind blog and thanx so much for making this interview with us :) We think that we are more modern melodic death metal band than metalcore band. And the name of the band was chosen very spontaneously, we even don’t remember how.
2. Silence Lies Fear’s logo is pretty amazing. How did you make it?
Jakhangir: Thanx, we also like it very much. It was done by russian designer Maxim Kobzev
3. Every band’s got their stories about when they were forming. Those first rehearsals and gigs and all the members have gotten their part on it. Can you tell us how did you form Silence Lies Fear?
Jakhangir: Our band was formed in 2008 by me (Jakhangir Zeynalov) and by our drummer Asim Rahimov. We were studying at the same school and listening to the same metal bands so we decided to form a band and try to play and write our own music. We never used to have full line up cause it is really hard to find permanent band members in our country.
4. And what about your individual musical influences. How do they work on the band?
Jakhangir: We always loved such bands as In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Insomnium, Light This City and all this bands play Melodic Death Metal so we decided that we want to play Melodic and at the same time heavy stuff :)
5. Encyclopedia Metallum shows up that Silence Lies Fear’s lyrical themes are love, feelings and inner struggles. Why choose those ones to write songs about?
Jakhangir: It was in our debut album and in the second album lyrical themes is more about alien invasion and enslavement of humanity and human mind :) So as you see we try to cover up many different topics. It’s not fundamentally to us.
6. You guys are from Azerbaijan and like most of the bands in the world, Silence Lies Fear’ songs are written in English. Why did you choose to sing in English and not in your mother language?
Jakhangir: English is an international language and so everyone can understand it :)
7. Some people call it modern melodic death and some people just prefer to call it melodic death or metalcore. How to mix up those two styles so greatly as we can hear when we listen to your songs?
Jakhangir: Really no secrets or any manuals how to mix styles and music genres together. You just need to try again and again until you will get what you want :)
8. We’ve searched about the band and discover that Silence Lies Fear participate in some festivals. What would you say about your local scene of metal? Is it united?
Jakhangir: The situation with local metal scene is very sad cause we don’t have it at all.
9. Some personal curiosity I have is: do you face some kind of prejudice or mistrust by foreign people for being from Azerbaijan?
Jakhangir: Yes sometimes it happens but it is not disturbing us at all. We are not looking for easy ways to success :)
10. Do you think that are differences between what Silence Lies Fear were in 2008 musically talking and now?
Jakhangir: Yessure both in technical way and in songwriting we became more educated :)

11. The album ‘The Storm Looming Ahead’, released in 2012, is such a masterpiece. I’ve listened to it and I was kind of overwhelmed by the album’s killer riffs, those beyond awesome intros and the final song that was perfect ended with storm sounds. What was your inspiration to such a great work like that? And about the composition, recording sessions and mixing thing?
Jakhangir: It was our first full-length album so we tried to make our best. All songs were recorded, mixed and mastered by our drummer Asim Rahimov. It was his first work as a sound engineer.
12. ‘Future: The Return’ was recently released in this year and some people compared it to Dark Tranquility music style. What was like to produce this album?
Jakhangir: Future: The Return was also produced by our drummer Asim Rahimov and by me, but mix and mastering was done by great Danish sound engineer Jacob Hansen on Hansen Studios :)

13. How is Silence Lies Fear agenda for this 2015 ending? And about the future of the band, what are you guys planning of?
Jakhangir: We have plans to release our third album in 2017 and for now we have plans to move to one of the European countries and to continue with our music :)

1. Olá, Silence Lies Fear! Em primeiro lugar, gostaria de agradecer a vocês, em nome do blog G.Grind. Vejo que muitos grupos de metalcore criarem suas bandas com "nomes longos". É quase comum neste estilo de música. Qual foi a história por trásdo nome Silence Lies Fear?
Jakhangir: Querido, G.Grind, muito obrigada por fazer esta entrevista com a gente Pensamos que estamos numa pegada mais melodic death, puxada para o modern metal, do que uma banda de metalcore. E o nome da banda foi escolhido de forma muito espontânea, a gente até não se lembra como.
2. O logo de vocês é incrível. Como foi desenhá-lo?
Jakhangir: Obrigado! Nós também gostamos muito. Ele foi feito pelo designer russo Maxim Kobzev.
3. Cada banda tem suas histórias sobre quando estavam em formação ainda. Os primeiros ensaios e shows e cada membro tem sua parte nisso. Vocês podem nos dizer como a Silence Lies Fear foi formada?

Jakhangir:Nós sempre amamos bandas como In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Insomnium, Light This City e todas as bandas que tocam melodic death, então decidimos que queríamos tocar melodeath ao mesmo tempo que algumas coisas de heavy metal também.
5. O blog Encyclopaedia Metallum mostra que a Silence Lies Fear tem como temática das letras amor, sentimentos e lutas interiores. Por que escolheram escrever músicas com tais temas?
Jakhangir: Esses são temas do nosso debut, pois já no segundo, a temática é mais sobre invasão alienígena, escravidão da humanidade e a mente humana. Então, como você pode ver nós tentamos cobrir tópicos diferentes em nossas músicas. Isso é fundamental para nós!
6. Vocês são do Azerbaijão e como a maioria das bandas do mundo, Silence Lies Fear tem músicas em inglês. Por que escolheram não cantar em sua língua materna?
Jakhangir: Inglês é a língua universal, assim todo mundo pode entender nossas músicas.
7. Algumas pessoas denominam esse estilo modern melodic death e algumas apenas preferem chamar de melodeath ou metalcore. Como misturar esses dois subgêneros tão bem quanto vocês fazem?
Jakhangir: Não tem realmente segredos ou algum tipo de manual para misturar estilos e gêneros de música. Apenas tente e tente de novo até que consiga o que quer.
8. Nós pesquisamos sobre a banda e descobrimos que a Silence Lies Fear participa de alguns festivais. O que poderiam dizer sobre a cena local do metal por aí? Ela é unida?
Jakhangir: A situação com a cena local é muito triste porque nós não temos nenhuma.
9. Alguma curiosidade pessoal que tenho é: vocês enfrentam algum tipo de preconceito ou desconfiança das pessoas por serem do Azerbaijão?
Jakhangir: Sim, algumas vezes isso ocorre, mas não nos perturba nem um pouco. Nós não estamos atrás de sucesso fácil.
10. Há diferenças entre a Silence Lies Fear de 2008 para hoje, musicalmente falando? Jakhangir: Sim, em ambas a partes técnicas e de composição.

Jakhangir:Este foi nosso primeiro álbum full-length, então tentamos dar nosso melhor. Todas as músicas foram gravadas, mixadas e masterizadas por nosso baterista Asim Rahimov. Foi seu primeiro trabalho como engenheiro de som.
12. ‘Future: The Return’ foi lançado recentemente neste ano e algumas pessoas o compararam ao estilo que faz o Dark Tranquility. Como foi produzir este álbum?
Jakhangir: ‘Future: The Return’ também foi produzido por nosso baterista Rahimov e por mim, mas a mixagem e masterização foram feitas pelo grandíssimo engenheiro de som dinamarquês Jacob Hansen em seus estúdios

13. Como está a agenda da Silence Lies Fear para o fim de 2015? E sobre o futuro da banda, o que planejam?
Jakhangir:Nós temos planos de lançar nosso terceiro álbum em 2017 e por agora temos planos de mudarmos para um dos países europeus e continuar com nosso som.
